Troop 810 sponsors a number of awards and recognitions that are unique to our program:

Scout of the Year Annual award presented to the Scout who earns the highest number of points under the Troop's preestablished point system based on participation, advancement, leadership and service. A Scout may receive this award only once during his career.

Baden-Powell Leadership Award Annual award presented to the Scout elected by his fellow Troop members as best demonstrating the attributes of leadership modeled by scouting's founder, Lord Robert Baden-Powell. A Scout may receive this award only once during his career.

Spirit Award Annual award presented to the Scout selected by the Scoutmaster Staff as best exemplifying the ideals of the Scout Promise and Law. A Scout may receive this award only once during his career.

Community Service Award Annual award presented by the Troop Committee to all Scouts that actively participate in a majority of the Troop-sponsored service projects (including Eagle-projects) during the year. A Scout may receive this award each year that it is earned.

Master Camper Stars A master camping star (for neckerchief) is presented to a Scout for every 20 nights in the field on Troop 810-sponsored camping trips. After 100 nights in the field, a Scout is recognized as one of our most experienced 5-Star Campers.

Golden Boot A bronzed hiking boot is presented to Scouts who achieve 500 miles of trail hiking during their Troop 810 career. With dedication and persistence, a highly motivated Scout should be able to 'get the boot' after several years.

Wacky Olympic Games Each Fall, Troop 810 holds its annual Wacky Olympic Games featuring some of the most unusual events known to man. The winning Patrol gets to hold the Olympic Trophy for the whole year.

Ralphy Cup The coveted Ralphy Cup is signed by each Scout who barfs, hurls, upchucks, vomits, throws up, and/or ralphs during a Troop 810-sponsored camping trip. We have several multiple recipients of this most distinguished award.
