Boy Scout Troop 810 is chartered by Saint Francis DeSales Catholic Church and meets most Sundays from 6:00 - 7: 30 pm in the Church's spacious Kilduf Hall. Saint Francis is located at 1450 Abingdon Road, Abingdon, Maryland. We are a very active and enthusiastic group supporting multiple monthly outings. After being dormant for several years, a number of concerned and dedicated adults resurrected Troop 810 in February 2001. Since that time, our Troop has grown to 56 scouts, 8 of which earned highest rank of Eagle Scout and 3 more were awarded the Troop 810 Life Scout, Scout for Life Award. Helping each Scout reach his fullest potential through the scouting program is the primary goal of our Troop leaders. To that end, our Troop meetings and outings are designed to provide adventure, skill and character development, leadership opportunities, respect for others, advancement, and fun.
